  Hey there! I’m Steve Hobbs, the creator of Get Sum Math™.

 

  I’ve been an educator for over 15 years, and my goal is to make GED prep simple and easy to understand.
 

  For three years, I taught GED classes at the Salt Lake County jail, where I helped over 200 adults earn their diplomas. That experience showed me that I could reach more people by creating free resources — so I launched Get Sum Math™, a YouTube channel and practice website designed to support GED students everywhere.

  I hold a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Education (Math/Physics).  I've grown from being a math teacher to a science teacher to a teacher of other disciplines as well.  If you're working towards your GED, I invite you to check out my website for Math, Science, Social Studies, and RLA prep.
