Test Taking Tips:

Here are tips to keep in mind
when taking your GED tests:

🪪  • Bring a valid ID to the test center
🎧  • Bring your own earplugs to use if
you think they might be helpful

1) Start with your EASIEST test first! ✅

•  Whether it's RLA, Science, Social
Studies, or Math, starting with your
easiest test can give you confidence
and momentum to keep going!

2) Take the GED Ready test before
each of your actual tests to see if
you're likely to pass! ✍🏼

•  The GED Ready practice tests
(on GED.com) are the best way
to know if you're likely to pass!

3) Read the question FIRST! 🥇

•  This can save you time, especially
if the question asks you about a
specific paragraph (then you can
just read that one paragraph to
find the answer!)

4) FLAG questions you don't know! ⛳️

•  If you're spending too much time
on a question, take a guess, FLAG
the question (by clicking on:

🚩 Flag for Review
on the top right of the test screen)

and move on to the next question.

5) Leave no questions BLANK! 📝

•  You can only gain points, but you
don't lose points for wrong answers.
So always choose an answer for
every question on the test! 🎯
